Arsenal have officially confirme that English forward Raheem Sterling will wear the number 30 shirt this season.
Sterling joined from London rivals Chelsea on loan without an option to buy on deadline day after falling out of Enzo Maresca’s plans.
When he was unveiled with the Gunners, the shirt number had not announced at first. But it was expected that Sterling would take the number 10 shirt. Which was vacant after Emile Smith Rowe, a young midfielder, moved to Fulham this summer.
However, Arsenal release a statement on Tuesday saying ยูฟ่าเบท would wear the number 30 shirt. Which was last owned by American goalkeeper Matt Turner. Who left the club last year.
Previously, the number 30 shirt was worn by Eddie Nketiah, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Park Chu-Young, Ryo Miyaichi and Yossi Benayoun. Also has other options, with the No. 14 and No. 21 available following the departures of Nketiah and Fabio Vieira, and the No. 31 shirt he wore at Liverpool.
