Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has insisted he will not buy any more midfielders despite Thiago Alcantara’s latest injury.
Thiago was substituted after 50 minutes in their 2-2 draw with Fulham in the opening match of the English Premier League. Reports suggest that a hamstring injury is likely. UFABET The team replaced Harvey Elliott.
Currently, the team has injured players. Including Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones, Alex Odlade-Chamberlain, Costa Simikas and Diogo Jota with Thiago. But Jurgen Klopp who previously insisted he would not buy more, still insisted on the same word.
“I don’t know what will happen now, it’s clear.” Klopp said. “We said we didn’t need a midfielder because we had enough. And in fact, we have had enough.”
“But the problem is that we are now being punished for something that is not our responsibility. because this can happen.”
“Nobody can imagine Curtis (Jones) going to have what he has to go through. It wasn’t anything serious. But he’s young and it’s a stress response.”
“The body is like this, Naby (Keita) is just sick and he looks like he’ll be back next week, (injury of) Alex Odlade-Chamberlain. It happened so quickly and now with Thiago it’s definitely not good and we’ll see.”
